Burton Name Dropper
Burton Name Dropper is a tough-as-nails park slaying powerhouse that'll have people dropping your name when they see how good you're riding. Receiving a camber shake up for 2019, the Name Dropper now has PurePop camber, which results in an even poppier and more stable ride for getting up onto rails and sticking landings, while staying soft enough for huge presses and easy lock-ons. Combine this with the Burton Off-Axis technology thats designed for park riding, all tricks new and old will be much easier, smoother, and more fun. Take it to the mini park for some playful jumps or take it to the XL park for some burly technical rail lines, the Name Dropper is a park-tuned powerhouse that flexes soft when you want it but stays stable when you need it. Get out there and throw down some hammers!
Board Type: Park
Camber Type: PurePop Camber
An evolution of traditional camber, PurePop places subtle flat zones outside your feet to amplify pop and add a more playful feeling to the camber. Early rise tip and tail get your contact points out of the snow quicker, reducing catch and enhancing float.
Flex: 1-4/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)
Twin Flex - Board is constructed the same at both ends to give a smooth ride while riding regular or switch.
Ride it forwards, backwards, or upside down, this board is constructed exactly the same tip to tail for an identical ride when going switch or regular.
Off-Axis - Burtons version of asymmetrical construction, Off-Axis tweaks technologies throughout the board to match the angles of a typical park riders stance. This results in better grip, a more natural board flex, and an overall smoother ride.
FSC Certified Super Fly 800G - Light and loaded with Pop, this core uses dual-species wood in dual density vertical laminations to reduce weight and stay strong.
Dualzone EGD - The wood grain of the core is positioned along the heel and toe edge on two unbroken zones, perpendicular to the rest of the core. This gives consistent edge hold and strength.
Off Axis Squeezebox Low - A thicker and more powerful core section with thinner and more flexible sections in the tip and tail. This enhances energy transfer and makes the board snappier and more stable. The Low version of Squeezebox has an overall easier feel, with stiffer zones just outside your feet and a softer, smoother flex inside the bindings for more control and less effort.
Sintered bases are durable, porous, and have superior wax absorption capabilities for enhanced glide.
Infinite Ride - Burton is able to maximise pop and performance by overbuilding their boards in the factory, and then using machinery to break it down for you. This allows your board to ride the same from day one, to day 100, season after season.
Filet-O-Flex - Ultra-thin profiling through the board results in more flex without sacrificing performance. Suspension pads are placed underfoot to dampen your ride and give you a bit more bulk where its needed.
Pro Tip - A thinner tip and tail means reduced weight and swing when in the air, helping you to send it!
Off Axis Frostbite Edges - Edges that extend out slightly underneath your bindings for enhanced edge hold on hardpack and ice.
